Westkey Xibita Proudly Partners with Canadian Olympian

At Westkey Xibita, we don’t just believe in partnerships - we also believe in people. In stories that inspire. In grit that doesn’t quit. That’s why we’re proud to announce our sponsorship of Canadian bobsledder and Olympian Melissa Lotholz as she powers her way toward the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

A Canadian Story of Grit, Grace, and Guts

Melissa Lotholz

Melissa’s journey reads like a true Canadian classic. Raised on a multigenerational farm in Barrhead, Alberta, she grew up knowing the meaning of hard work, early mornings, and deep community roots. That kind of upbringing doesn’t just build strong athletes - it builds strong character.

Before cruising the ice at Olympic speeds, Melissa sprinted across track fields at university, chasing goals that would soon take her much further. She later found her calling in bobsleigh, where she quickly made a name for herself on the world stage. In 2022, she became the first Canadian woman to compete at the Olympics as both a brakeman and a pilot - an extraordinary achievement that speaks volumes about her tenacity, leadership, and belief in what’s possible.

It’s this fearless flexibility, the drive to push beyond the expected, that resonates with us at Westkey Xibita. It’s what we strive for every day - in the work we create, the deadlines we meet, and the clients we champion.

Performance Under Pressure

Melissa doesn’t just perform, she delivers - under pressure, on the edge, with everything on the line. Whether she’s powering a 365-pound sled down an icy track or steering with split-second precision through curves at 130 km/h, her ability to stay sharp and focused is truly remarkable.

That mindset - resilient, relentless and refined by fire is something we admire and aspire to.

More Than a Logo

For us, this sponsorship goes far beyond a branding opportunity. Her journey is an inspiration to our team, an investment in our country and a wonderful opportunity to stand beside someone who embodies the best of what it means to be Canadian: hardworking, humble, community-driven and fiercely dedicated to their craft.

Melissa is in it for more than medals. She's in it to inspire, to open doors, to leave a legacy, and we hope to do the same in our own small way. We believe part of being excellent is investing in excellence! GO Mellisa GO!

On the Road to Cortina 2026

As she trains and competes in the lead- up to the 2026 Winder Olympic Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, we'll be right there beside her - cheering her on every step of the way as she chases another shot at Olympic glory.

Follow along as we share her journey, celebrate her wins, and stand behind a story that reminds us all what determination, purpose and heart can truly achieve.

Help Her Get There

Behind every Olympic run is a mountain of determination - and a mountain of costs. Training, travel, coaching, equipment, accommodations - none of it comes cheap. And for athletes like Melissa, the financial burden can be as steep as the track itself.

We’re proud to support Melissa as a sponsor, but she still needs help to get all the way to Cortina in 2026. If you believe in the power of sport, of perseverance, we invite you to donate and be part of Melissa’s journey.
